Teams
Teams, launched earlier this year, is a new way for Elance providers to organize as a team and work together, making it easy for multiple individuals to work together and manage jobs within one provider account.

We are excited to share the news that Elance is teaming up with American Express OPEN^SM, a company that offers business cards, services and tools that can help small business owners manage their cash flow and grow their business.



The recently launched initiative aims to bring more opportunities to Elance providers and employers by creating an American Express OPEN community on Elance. Read on to learn about the initiative, key benefits and how to get involved.

The new addition – Skills Central – is a resource where you can explore the inner workings of the Elance talent market, especially facts and data about the skills in demand and the skills for hire on Elance.

• Introduced a new role, Consultants, to the Teams functionality
• Integrated comments on Status Reports with private messages (PMBs)
• Improved keyword search results for employers

Status Reports, introduced in July, help providers systematically manage customer expectations and satisfaction. They allow providers to document progress as work is performed, and communicate job status on a weekly basis.



The recently updated Tracker automatically generates Status Reports and Invoices, eliminating billing errors and making  project billing quick and easy. Since the launch of Tracker and Status Reports, we have received positive feedback from many providers and employers.

We are pleased to introduce Teams, a new way for Elance providers to organize as a team and work together. The Teams functionality is available for Small and Large Business provider memberships as an optional add-on feature for a fee.
