Fabio Rosati
President and Chief Executive Officer

Fabio and the Elance team are building the number one online workplace where businesses connect with qualified professionals to get work done.

Prior to Elance, Fabio worked in the United States and Europe at CapGemini. In the US, Fabio launched CapGemini's e-business division, led its Strategic Consulting practice, and was COO of Gemini Consulting. In Europe, Fabio headed Gemini Consulting's Analysis & Design business and was CEO of the Italian subsidiary.

Fabio holds a B.S.B.A. from Georgetown University.

Michael Culver
Vice President of Finance and Legal

Michael leads the team responsible for Finance, Corporate Development, Human Resources, and Legal Affairs at Elance.

Michael has held roles in finance, corporate development, administration, and legal at Vocera, Brigade and The Park Group and is a board member of Aesec and Legal OnRamp.  Michael was a founding member of Aesec, Legal OnRamp and The Park Group. Earlier in his career Michael was a corporate attorney at LeBouef, Lamb, Greene & MacRae in New York and Mori Sogo in Tokyo.

Michael holds a B.A. in Economics and Public Affairs from Princeton University, and a J.D. from Harvard Law School.

Jonathan Diller
Vice President of Provider Network

Jonathan leads the teams responsible for recruitment and admission of providers to the Elance Professional Network, for provider training and performance measurement, and for Customer Service to all Elance members. Jonathan has been with Elance for over 3 years and was previously the Director of Professional Services for Europe.

Prior to joining Elance, Jonathan was a Senior Manager with BlueStar Solutions, where he was responsible for developing and leading the Ariba solution offering. Prior to joining BlueStar Solutions, Jonathan was a Senior Consultant with Arthur Andersen.

Jonathan holds an MBA, MIS, and a BS, Biology from the University of Arizona.

Maurizio Gianola
Vice President of Engineering

As Vice President of Engineering, Maurizio oversees all Elance product development and IT operations. He brings extensive technical expertise in enterprise software, web and on-demand applications, open-source and development tools, as well as market leading experience building and managing distributed engineering organizations and open source development communities. Prior to joining Elance, Maurizio held several engineering management positions and was Vice President of Engineering at MySQL, PeopleSoft, Seriosity and Annuncio Software, a CRM company he co-founded and later sold to PeopleSoft.

Maurizio holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Pisa University, Italy, and is a graduate of the AEA Stanford Executive Institute Program.

Brad Porteus
Chief Marketing Officer

Brad leads the Marketing team at Elance whose collective responsibility is to accelerate growth through executing programs aimed at acquiring customers and building customer relationships.

Prior to joining Elance, Brad has held general manager and marketing roles at companies including Yelp, eBay, MTV, and the San Jose Sharks.

Brad holds an MBA from Stanford and a BA in Economics from Duke.

Ved Sinha
Vice President of Product

Ved leads Elance's Product team, including user interface and product design, and is responsible for designing and implementing game-changing web-user experiences that delight users and support the company's strategies and business objectives. Ved has been with Elance since the company's inception and prior to this role has had the opportunity to develop a unique understanding of the user community.

Prior to joining Elance, Ved was a consultant with Booz Allen Hamilton. Ved began his career at Oracle, where he led technical pre-sales consulting for an Oracle business unit, developed computer-aided software engineering models for enterprise applications as part of the Oracle Industry Templates initiative and wrote custom code for Oracle clients.

Ved holds an MBA from the University of Chicago and a BA with a double major in Computer Science and Philosophy from Wesleyan University, CT.
